《野兽家园》改编自美国第一位获得过安徒生插画奖的儿童插图画家、被称为“童画界的毕加索”、“图画书创始以来最伟大的创作者”莫里斯•桑达克（Maurice Sendak）自写自画的同名作品,而指导此片的更是大名鼎鼎的《成为约翰•马尔科维奇》导演斯派克•琼斯。故事讲述了小男孩马克斯被妈妈惩罚，关在卧室中、不许吃晚餐，躺在床上的马克斯却凭借幻想在他的头脑中建立起一个神秘的国度。那里有茂密的森林和海洋，还居住着高大、长着角的毛茸茸怪物，前去冒险的马克斯并不害怕他们，他用“注视着他们黄色的眼睛一眨都不眨”的方法征服了他们，成为了“野兽国度”的国王。然而不久之后马克斯就觉得孤独、开始想家，等他回去时发现晚餐摆在桌子上等他，还是热的。

近日为了庆祝《野兽家园》（Where the Wild Things Are）的上映，美国纽约新生代摇滚乐队Yeah Yeah Yeahs演出服装的设计师Christian Joy在位于Cahuenga Boulevard购物中心内的Space 15 Twenty举办了同名“Where the Wild Things Are”的展览并根据剧情设计了5款“野兽剧服”，而所有的戏服和现场公仔都将以临时店铺的形式对我外限时发售，展览时间从9月19持续到10月16日，纽约的朋友一定要去哦，因为Space 15 Twenty同时还云集了众多纽约街牌，例如：Alife、Urban Outfitters、What Comes Around Goes Around、Hennessey + Ingalls、Snack Bar、Gallery Space以及We The Free。
